Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moore, is an amazing Hollywood actress and author whose talents have earned an acclaim from critics as well as recognition. Sagittarius. Born in North Carolina, on 3rd December, 1960. She's one of the three oldest children to Peter Moore Smith and Anne Smith. Peter was a paratrooper. She's English as well as Scottish. Moore had a difficult time as her family was constantly moving due to her dad's work. Moore was her first major character in Safe(1995). In 1997 the actress career was at a crossroads when Steven Spielberg cast her to star in Jurassic Park: The Lost World that became the highest grossing film of 1997. In 1999, she was a part of the critically-acclaimed Magnolia and earned a SAG Award nomination in recognition of her work. The film was co-produced by Nicole Kidman, Meryl Streep and others for The Hours, which was nominated nine times for Academy Awards.
